Adams Street Station
In June 2017 we were approached by Adams Street Station in Jacksonville, Florida to design and fabricate signage for their train car facility. These once functioning vintage luxury railcars have been converted to modern day entertainment suites. Located within walking distance from Jacksonville’s Stadium District, Adams Street Station offers a truly unique atmosphere before and after the game!
About the Signs
Easy Sign was contacted to design, fabricate, and install signage for the railcars as well as the entrances to the facility. Our designers used Adam Street Station’s existing logo to draft the plan drawings for the project. There were a few minor alterations done to the logo in order to make fabrication possible. The project called for a total of 27 custom signs to be made and later installed on location in Florida.
Each of the 25 luxury railcars received an identification sign. These signs featured decorative scroll work, a three dimensional train pilot, or “cowcatcher”, and PVC numbers. These identification signs were installed next to the entrances of their respective rail cars.
Two large Adams Street Station signs were also produced. One was hung over the main walkway into the railcar area and the other was installed on the main street entrance. These signs also featured gilded 23 karat gold leaf scroll work, individual raised letters, and a large three dimensional cowcatcher.
